Are you considering portable solar?

Some of our clients will benefit by the current interest in “Plug
in Solar” aka portable solar, now the latest in Vermont’s
renewable energy revolution. While now making its way
through the legislative process, it seems to have widespread
appeal. Legislation approving portable solar was approved
unanimously recently in Utah.
If you have never heard of Plug in Solar, here’s a friendly
introduction to explain how it works.
Simply put, it is the little brother of the well-known rooftop
panels. Much simpler and far less expensive, portable solar is a
small system that uses one or two panels and plugs into a
standard household outlet. It is designed to lower your electric
bill by feeding clean solar energy into your home’s wiring and
requiring no electrician or permits assuming the Vermont
legislature gets behind the technology.
It has the ability to lower the homeowner’s daytime electricity
usage by 5-15%. The average costs range $300-$2500. All you
need to supply is sunshine!
We will be sharing more information on our website as the
technology and our knowledge of it grows, so stay tuned.
